Who We Are

We are an 501 c 3 organization in Madison County governed by a Board of Directors. Where we can we act as a Fiscal Sponsor ( currently for Zann Nelson and the Right the Record Project in Culpeper) for activities that are in line with our own mission and purposes and further the known history of African Americans.

What We Do

Collect and share historic information on the lives of African Americans in Madison County, Virginia and beyond. Also strive to preserve significant structures pertaining to AA history.
