Who We Are
We are a national nonprofit organization based out of Warrenton, VA, founded by former college football player and coach, Casey Kroll, in honor of his mentor, Coach Jamal Powell. The Big Man Foundation is dedicated to supporting coaches of all sports and levels of competition anywhere in the country. Grounded in the values of service, compassion, and community, we work closely with coaches and their families to ensure they receive the support they deserve during life’s most challenging moments.
What We Do
The Big Man Foundation is committed to supporting coaches and their families through life’s toughest moments. We offer a range of services, from financial grants to emotional support, ensuring that coaches facing illness, injury, or hardship receive the care they need. Our flagship program, the Jamal Powell Legacy Grant, is designed to provide immediate relief to families in crisis, allowing coaches to focus on what matters most. Our mission is to alleviate the burdens that life’s challenges can bring, so coaches can continue making an impact on and off the field.
