Who We Are
We are a Waldorf-inspired school. Our curriculum awakens the imagination, opens the heart and engages the hands by developing each child's ability to think clearly, feel deeply and act purposefully. Our school is an active partnership of students, teachers, families and community members. Hearthstone has been serving the community for 21 years.
What We Do
Hearthstone School is a Waldorf-inspired school which emphasizes arts-based, nature-based, experiential learning. We serve grades N/K through 8. We also provide classes for homeschoolers. In addition to core academics, we offer music, drama, art, practical life skills, gardening, clay/pottery, cooperative games, swimming, movement/dance and an outdoor program.
