Who We Are
SCSM is a non-denominational, non-profit 501c3 organization. We envision a world where those experiencing grief and loss have access to compassionate support, mourning is understood as essential to healing, and those who have experienced healing become a catalyst of hope to others.
Through effective support and prayer, we believe that those who come to us for help will be able to find hope and healing and see that there is a future for them. Our staff, volunteers and support groups ardently believe in equal dignity, and maintain the highest integrity standards. We give each person the individual attention, care and support they need and deserve, regardless of their situation. Each person’s thoughts and feelings are recognized, valued and respected with confidentiality and respect, without judgment. .
What We Do
Spiritual Care Support Ministries provides faith-based education, counseling and support to those experiencing grief, illness or loss, and to those who journey with them. We create safe spaces for healing and equip communities to respond with compassion to people navigating life's most difficult transitions We are proud to provide individual counseling services, inspirational studies, support groups in Warrenton and Bristow, Virginia, and community events or thru remote access, to give people strength, spiritual guidance, hope and enduring faith during many of the most difficult times of their lives.
