Volunteer: SPCA Event ExtraodinaireThe Fauquier SPCA organizes fundraising events to promote adoptions throughout the year. These event typically take place on weekends. Volunteers are needed to help spread the good news about what our shelter does and services we provide. Though knowledge and training will be provided, good communication skills are a plus. Volunteers help with handling the animals that are taken to these events and assist with light set up and take down responsibilities. Volunteers who respond to this opportunity, after filling out an application and receiving training, will be placed on an on-call list to be notified when these events occur to determine availability. Volunteer shifts typically run 3-4 hours. Hours can be flexible and very with each event.
