Our Free Clinic gets a once-a-month Friday delivery from the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank (usually the third Friday) where volunteers will unload and restock the shelves in our patient food pantry. We need a couple of volunteers that are able to carry 50 pounds. The truck is scheduled to arrive at 10:00. The entire process usually takes about 1 hour, depending upon the number of volunteers we have. You can work inside opening boxes of food and restocking the shelves, or if you don't mind a bit of heavier lifting, you can move boxes of food from the pallet onto a cart.
