Help Clean and Beautify the John Page Turner Community House

The John Page Turner Community House is the hub of The Plains Community League’s many services including: After-school tutoring, Summer Camp, Santa’s Visit, Easter Bunny, GED classes, STEAM classes, A Day in The Plains celebration, and more.  The house is over 100 years old and needs ongoing care.  It is located on Main Street in The Plains, VA.  Can you help us prepare the house and grounds this year?

·      Power wash the house

·      Scrub the porch furniture

·      Weed and mulch landscaping

·      Fill holes in the lawn

·      Remove last year’s vegetable garden, install raised beds

·      Repair and repaint picnic tables

·      Remove bushes from front path and replant beside house

We will provide:

Tools, topsoil, mulch, paint, raised bed planters
