Respond to emergencies when dispatched as a firefighter or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). All active volunteer firefighters are also required to maintain a minimum of twelve hours of participation per month, in addition to required training. These hours can be obtained by attending training or other official Department functions.
We are one of the few volunteer companies in the Commonwealth that require certification and are proud of our endeavor to provide trained, certified personnel to respond to all emergencies. Interested active volunteers should contact us in advance to arrange for the required training. Little Fork Volunteer Fire & Rescue Company pays the costs of all volunteer training.
