This is a planting frenzy as we work together to get thousands of lettuce seedlings into the soil. Everything grown at the Fauquier Education Farm is donated to food banks across Fauquier Rappahannock Culpeper and Prince William counties, in 2023 this came to 108,445 lbs of fresh produce donated to our neighbors in need. We'll have a few rows of onions to plant in addition to the lettuce! This is outdoor, garden work that will require bending and walking over uneven ground. With enough volunteers it can go very quickly.
