During cold weather, Fauquier Community Coalition delivers wood to those families in Fauquier County that use wood to heat their homes. Donated uncut wood is delivered to the field behind Brumfield Elementary School. On alternate Saturdays, volunteers are invited to gather from 8:00 am until 10:00 am to split and stack wood for delivery later in the year.
Please bring gloves, and any wood splitting tools that you may have. All skill levels are welcome! We are eager to have you join us. There is much work to do before the winter!
