Cut, Split, Stack and Deliver wood to our community. Join us at the Wood Lot 650 Alwington Blvd. on April 24th form 9AM until 1PM. All minors should be accompanied by parent or guardian. We have meaningful tasks for persons of all ages and levels of experience. Experienced volunteers will be there to instruct and volunteers can work as short or as long a time period as they desire. This wood ministry provides free firewood for 35 needy families in our community. We work 52 weeks a year to stack and season 150+ cords of wood to meet this need. Volunteers should bring gloves, something to drink, and a will spirit. You instantly be able to see the impact of your efforts as the wood stacks grow. If volunteers have axes, mauls or wood splitters they wish to bring to the wood lot that is great but not necessary.
