Description: WYSC is looking for volunteers to coach volleyball teams during the season's fall league! There are several age division ranging from 7 - 16 year olds. After registering as a volunteer please contact WYSC to see which divisions need coaches and/or request an age division. Games & practices take place at local FCPS schools.
Qualifications: Some volleyball knowledge is required and a love for being around youth and encouraging a healthy lifestyle through athletics! After registering as a coach, a background check will be run on each coach. If under 18 yrs old, you must first go through the WYSC "Athletic Mentor" program before registering as a head coach.
Time Requirements: Your team will have one practice a week during the weekdays and one game on Saturdays. When registering on the WYSC website as a coach, you may request certain practice times and days. The 2018 season runs from Sept. 17th - Nov. 17th.
After signing up on PATH, volunteers must register at WYSC.org as well. This will allow you to view your team roster and contacts.
