Volunteer: Remington Community Garden - Fall Cleanup Day

Remington Community Garden - the best kept secret in Southern Fauquier! We manage 1.5 acres of beautiful garden plots, an herb garden, pollinator bed, frog pond, flowers, shrubs, berries, fruit trees, grape vines and native trees. Upkeep on that variety of horticulture requires a mammoth effort to prepare all the spaces for winter. We can use your help!

There are plenty of opportunities for people of all ages, skills and abilities. Bring a friend and join us for a morning filled with fun, hard work and comradery. Lunch will be provided.

Volunteer: Garden Support Team

Remington Community Garden is looking for folks interested in joining a watering, weeding, harvesting support team. We have over 160 vegetable plants in our community plots that need consistent watering this summer. These plants are used to provide fresh vegetables for our Little Free Veggie Wagon and given away to those with food insecurity in the Remington Community.

As the summer progresses, we will also be harvesting produce 2-3 times a week.

Volunteers will be paired with an experienced Master Gardener. Each volunteer will be scheduled once a week for about 2 hours. Days and times are flexible.
