Opportunities From: PATH Volunteer Hub

We are in need of consistant childcare volunteers who will provide childcare to children during our monthly support group meetings in Manassas,VA and/or our respite nights in Woodbridge, VA.  If you are interested in becoming a childcare volunteer, please fill out an interest form at this link: https://www.fosterthefamilydc.org/volunteers

Then you will be contacted by our program coordinator who will supply you with an application and background check information. After completing the application and approval process, you will need to attend a volunteer training which is about 1.5 hours and is offered in person several times throughout the year.  Lastly, you will be required to complete a 1 hour online training about caring for children who have gone through trama.

We are looking for delivery drivers to pack and deliver our care packages to foster families.  Our delivery drivers are "on call" once per month.  If we get a notification that a foster child has been placed in a foster home, we will notify the delivery driver.  The driver will then need to go our storage hub in Manassas and pack a care package that includes new clothing, toys, books, etc and then deliver it to the home of the foster family.  All deliveries from this location are within Prince William and Fauquier counties.
