Grant Writer / Funding Volunteer – SAWS Virginia West

At SAWS Virginia West, we build access ramps that create safety, independence, and dignity for individuals with disabilities—and every one of those ramps starts with funding.

We’re seeking a Grant Writer/Funding Volunteer to help identify opportunities, support proposal writing, and strengthen the resources that make this life changing work possible.

Whether you’re an experienced writer or simply interested in learning, this is a unique opportunity to build skills and make a real difference. Training and guidance will be provided,no prior grant writing experience is required.

In this role, you may help with:

Researching grant and funding opportunities Drafting or editing proposals and letters of inquiry Gathering stories and program details to strengthen applications
