Community Touch is looking for volunteers to assist with various administrative duties to support our programs such as Noah's Ark Thrift Store, Victory Transitional Housing, and the food pantry that serve the underprivileged in our community.   You will perform tasks such as answering phones and setting  up appointments.  Skills needed, familiar with MS Word, phone courtesy, organizational skills, and multitasking.  The ideal volunteer would be passionate about providing both direct and supportive services to the underserved in our community.  Perfect position for retired individuals, those with free time during the day or  or young people who want to give back to their community during summer vacation. 

Responsible for working in Noah's Ark Thrift Stores in Bealeton and Marshall locations. Duties include stocking shelves, sorting clothes, pricing merchandise and possible some cashiering. 

Must have good customer service skills, be able to organize merchandise and handle donations from donors. Cashiering experience not necessary. 

Volunteer needed for Noah's Ark Outreach facility. This facility donates free household items, clothing and furniture to the less fortunate. 

Duties include: Organizing furniture, sorting and hanging clothes, helping clients with merchandise requests and keep location clean and tidy. 

Volunteer needed to drive Community Touch, truck 1-3 times a week 2-6 hours a day.

Duties include:  Picking up furniture every Thursday from 9am-4-pm. Dropping trash at dump and small miscellaneous duties involving usage of truck.   Must have valid drivers license and good driving record. Be able to lift up to 40lbs. 

Clara's Faith House Food Pantry is actively looking for volunteers to help distribute food for the less fortunate. The food pantry is open on Saturdays's from 9am to 12pm. Sometimes food needs to picked up a the local Food Lion but is not necessary.
