As a Friendly Visitor, you will be paired with an older adult in your area for weekly visits in their home or through a phone call. Many of the participating older adults may not have friends or family nearby and have trouble leaving the house on their own, so they end up spending most of their time alone. By volunteering with Two’s Company, you can brighten your older neighbor’s day and give them something to look forward to.

Assist our senior centers by transporting donations from local grocery stores to the senior center. Additionally, volunteers pick up senior center lunches from our central kitchen (15361 Bradford Road in Culpeper) and deliver them to one of the senior centers in the five counties we serve. Our senior centers are open on weekdays.

Volunteers transport Rappahannock County seniors to and from medical appointments.

Volunteers transport Rappahannock County seniors on first and/or third Fridays to run errands/shop in Culpeper, Warrenton or Front Royal.

We need you to work in one of our senior centers located in Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange, and Rappahannock counties! Opportunities vary with each center and the needs of the day and may include helping with day-to-day operations, helping with social activities, assisting at lunchtime and cleanup, or assisting with special projects, fundraising, or events. Centers are open four days a week from 10:00am until 2:00pm.

If you have musical talent or like to teach crafts, perform magic, or otherwise entertain others, we want to hear from you. Our seniors love to learn new things and welcome entertainers!
