Volunteer: Hope for Appalachia: Comfort Blanket MinistryA Comfort Blanket is a handmade blanket we like to give to children who have a need emotionally and physically. The kids LOVE these and call them "covers"! We also like to give special needs children these blankets as well as children going through some tough emotional situations.
The blankets are handmade and prayed over. When we give them to a child, we are giving them something covered in prayers, we hope and pray if finds them comfort in the situation they may be in. It is also something that they can call their own.
