Opportunities From: PATH Volunteer Hub

Are you a caring and compassionate veteran who wishes to provide comfort to those who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness?  Do you have time to make two to three visits per month to see a patient or provide respite for a caregiver?  Then Hospice of the Piedmont needs you!  We are currently looking for veterans in the outlying counties surrounding Culpeper, Orange, Rappahannock, Madison and Fauquier counties. You will go through a 15-hour in-person training course hosted by Hospice of the Piedmont.  If you are interested in volunteering and live in a county where volunteers are needed most, please go to www.hopva.org, click on Get Involved, Volunteers, and volunteer application.  Fill it out online and it will come back to us once you submit. We will then check in with you on the phone to give you more details about the role.  Background checks are completed on ALL individuals interested in becoming a volunteer. We have a training in Culpeper in May 2026.
