Share meals, watch movies, play games, or simply chat – find activities you both enjoy! Here are some tips for your volunteer experience: It's okay to be nervous! Let your friend know if you're feeling apprehensive. It can help you both relax. Focus on your friend. Remember, the goal is to build a friendship. Just be yourself! There's no script for being a good friend. Just show genuine interest and listen. Encourage conversation. Let your friend talk about their life, even if it's difficult. Most importantly, have fun!
