In our attempt to help community volunteers find safe ways to provide support during this health crisis, PATH Volunteer Hub has created a page to find critical needs related to the COVID-19.
If you are considering taking part in organization-led volunteer projects during this time, we ask that you observe the guidelines and precautions outlined in our Healthy Volunteers Guidelines listed below:
•Please do not volunteer if you are sick or feeling unwell.
•Please do not volunteer if you have been near someone who is sick.
•Please do not volunteer if you have traveled abroad or to any highly impacted part of the United States.
•Please do not shake hands or have physical contact with anyone if you are attending a volunteer project.
•Please be advised that staff may ask you to leave the volunteer project if you show signs of illness.
Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommends that anyone with symptoms of an acute respiratory illness stay home from work or avoid volunteer activities until they are symptom-free, without the aid of symptom-altering medicines, for 24 hours.
We ask that volunteers do not volunteer if you feel uncomfortable doing so.
