Who We Are

CCTF is a 32 year-old, non-profit, 501 (C)(3) arts education and technology education organization located in southern Fauquier County. What We Do

The MISSION of CAMP CAMELLIA TREE FARM: Art, Nature, Wildlife & Technology Center is to provide a natural environment that encourages visitors to relax, explore the forest, learn about tree farming, create art in the art studio and participate in educational workshops at the 73-acre, fifth generation tree farm in southern Fauquier County, Virginia. High School students, U.S. Veterans, Boy Scouts of America, Future Farmers of America Clubs, the Boys & Girls Club of Fauquier County, and other guests can explore old trails throughout the forests at the farm while learning how to identify various native and non native plants and trees with the guidance of Virginia Department of Forestry foresters, Virginia Tech and Virginia Cooperative Extension horticulturalists. Providing after school and weekend art & technology programs, CAMP CAMELLIA TREE FARM accommodates audiences that want to explore nature and/or technology, create nature inspired artwork or projects in a peaceful environment with the guidance of renown professional artists, art educators and technology educational specialists. Guests can learn about the first State of VA, Dept of Health approved hi-tech, green, rainwater harvesting drinking water system at the private residence. Artists, writers, students and educators who are in need of inspiration, a field trip or a change of pace can visit or retreat to the lodge where the tranquil setting of the farm provides comforting views, sights, sounds, and smells of nature that stimulate and inspire positive feelings and activities. Additionally, Taffel Engineering/Vintage Motors guests can explore the collection of antique american and european classic automobiles and how they were made. CAMP CAMELLIA TREE FARM is also known as INTERNATIONAL CENTER FOR ARTISTIC DEVELOPMENT, INC. CCTF is certified and operates in Virginia and ICAD is certified and operates in Maryland.
