OUR MISSION Our mission is to create change so older, forgotten children in foster care and orphanages grow up in families or connected to caring adults. OUR VISION Kidsave’s vision is a world where individuals, governments, and the global community ensure that all children grow up in safe, stable, and loving families. OUR VALUES At Kidsave, our purpose is simple: to help older kids in foster care and orphanages be seen, find family, and thrive. Our core values guide everything we do. Put Our Kids First. We are passionate about ensuring the best possible outcomes for our kids, so their well-being is our top priority. Every action, every decision starts with the best interest of our kids above all else. We ensure they have a voice and a choice in who they get to know, and who may ultimately become their mentor, host or family. Our kids come from varying backgrounds, and we celebrate their individual journeys and treat them all with the respect they deserve. We amplify and champion all our kids, including children of color and LGTBQ+ kids who are over-represented in the foster care system. For All Kids Every child deserves love and respect. Kidsave is committed to ensuring that every child—no matter their background—has the opportunity to thrive. We are dedicated to helping all kids be seen, feel heard, and find the love and support of families and lifelong connections and commitment. For All Families We welcome all prospective parents looking to help a child through mentoring, hosting, and adoption. Our families are as varied as they are beautiful. We understand the unique challenges our kids and families face, but we also know the love, security, and joy that comes with a meaningful connection. That is why we do our best to respond quickly and cultivate relationships and connections with every child and family that comes to Kidsave. We improve their world by promoting our programs, teaming up with other organizations, and promoting Kidsave’s vision and goals at events and in the media.
