Who We Are
We at MHF believe that all animals, both large and small, have the right to safe and sanitary living conditions, protection from abuse and neglect, and to live their lives in an environment free from pain and fear. We are reaching our goal of a humane and responsible community through outreach programs of assistance, education, and where necessary, intervention.
What We Do
The Middleburg Humane Foundation (MHF) operates a private, non-profit, farm shelter located in Marshall, Virginia. It is our goal to provide a safe haven for abused, neglected, and “at risk” animals, both large and small.
MHF specializes in the rescue and rehabilitation of animals that come to our shelter from a vast variety of abusive situations. After much needed nurturing and medical care, our animals are placed available for adoption.
