Community Support of the Piedmont (CSOTP) is a non-profit organization that envisions a community where everyone who faces injury, illness and death has access to medical supplies and emotional support to improve their quality of life. Our mission is to connect people with medical supplies and equipment, and emotional support through volunteer services in our community.
We run a Durable Medical Equipment Loan Closet. Our Loan Closet loans out durable medical equipment at no cost to those in need. The Loan Closet has a variety of equipment available to borrow such as: wheelchairs, hospital beds, walkers and canes. We are open to the public Monday through Friday from 10am to 3pm. We collect donations from the community of durable medical equipment, incontinent products and nutritional supplements. We receive request from individuals and families that have been referred by health care providers, other community members and allied professionals working with the families to address injury or illness or incontinence.
