Who We Are
The People for Pets Foundation, founded in 2008, is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) cat rescue.
Our mission is to find permanent, responsible and loving homes for all our rescues, while working to prevent cruelty, relieve suffering and always promoting responsible pet ownership and humane treatment of all animals.
We invite everyone to share this philosophy to help create a healthier and kinder community for humans and animals alike.
What We Do
The People for Pets Foundation is dedicated to rescuing cats left homeless for whatever reason - strays, abandoned, neglected, abused, or those in danger of abuse or neglect. We own and operate a small, private, cat only, "no-kill" shelter where we routinely care for 25 - 35 felines. All our rescues receive complete veterinary care and are spayed or neutered and vaccinated. We also offer long term care for cats with disabilities or illnesses that require special treatment. We have an active adoption program and work very hard to find the best homes possible for all our rescues.
