Description

Great Exercise for Thursday morning. Note come for any where between 2 and 4 hours You do not have to stay the whole time. Just as long as you can.

Please respond and make arrangements for carpooling, or caravan by Wednesday March 8th. or for directions as well

Requirements:

This is physical labor. a Volunteer should be prepared to bend, walk, lift and haul, debris such as bushes, dead limbs, and other undergrowth,

Clothing must include

Long pants, socks, shoes suitable for outdoor work that cover the entire foot, such as sneaker, or work boots. NO SANDELS, OR FLIPFLOPS, A long sleeve shirt or over shirt, and leather or other work gloves.

Equipment used in the activity varies tools generally used include:

Simple garden Loppers, or hand brush/grass axe to cut small undergrowth
Gas powered weed wacker
pitchfork
chainsaw (Only adults with their own equipment)
The graveyard cleanup, requires various forms of maintenance. They include but may not be limited to:

Cutting at ground level all new noxious weeds and saplings and cutting of grass.
Removing on reclamation projects, heavy growth of berry bushes, vines, and other Perennials - Plants that persist for many growing seasons.
Hauling by hand to on site debris pile or disposal area/vehicle
Removing all dead limbs, trees or other items (including trash, old wire etc) that has been thrown in the cemetery
