The Plains Community League Tutoring Program Training 2020
TPCLVA Tutoring Program needs you!!!!
If you have an interest in creating strong unconditional support tp 3rd through 8th
graders in the basics of Language Arts, Math Science, Civics and History then we have an exciting
opportunity and we need your help!!!. We meet with about 28 children from area schools on
Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3:30 until 5:15
at The John Page Turner House in The Plains, Virginia .
They have a snack, a quick visit and then get to work on
customized lesson plans. You will work semi-permanently with one to four students.
We need tutors who are adept at all of the core subjects and that can work with several kids at a time.
Our kids are wonderful and the work is most challenging with respect to motivating these young leaders.
Training is required. This Saturday join us from 10 until 3 for a great session that will familiarize you
with our process, working with the Fauquier County Public School's portal, Blackboard
