Description

Veterans and their family members who have questions about veterans’ benefits or making claims are encouraged to attend a special briefing in Warrenton on Saturday, December 3rd.

Tom Holley (CSM RET, USA), Veterans Service Representative of the Virginia Department of Veterans Services will hold an information session at 09:30 a.m. at the PATH Resource Center, Fauquier A/B Conference room, 321 Walker Drive in Warrenton. Similar events held in past years with over 50 attendees, led to numerous claims successfully processed and awarded to local beneficiaries.

The presentation will be oriented to veterans, spouses, widows and widowers, family members, caregivers and those currently in military services. Tom will provide up-to-date information, address questions and provide individual assistance about features, eligibility and application processes for federal and state benefits and services.

Tom will also explain recent initiatives including the PACT Act, the new law that expands VA health care and benefits for Veterans exposed to burn pits and other toxic substances.

Following the presentation, Tom and other DVS Veterans Services Officers will be available for individual assistance sessions from 10:30am – 2pm in the Rappahannock Room to prepare claims, follow-up on claims processing or submit appeals.
