Skill based volunteering leverages the specialized skills and talents of individuals to strengthen the infrastructure of nonprofits. Some examples include legal services, brand design, accounting & financial planning, HR/recruiting, and web design support. When a business provides these services to a nonprofit, they build leadership, increase employees creativity/problem-solving abilities, as well as build their employer brand.
