Welcome to the skill based volunteer page! The purpose of this initiative is to connect the needs of nonprofits to the skills of a business or skilled community volunteer. The skills and needs go hand in hand, as the two can benefit from each other greatly. Skill based volunteering leverages the specialized skills and talents of individuals to strengthen the infrastructure of nonprofits. Some examples include legal services, brand design, accounting & financial planning, HR/recruiting, and  web design support. When a business provides these services to a nonprofit, they build leadership, increase employees creativity/problem-solving abilities, as well as build their employer brand.
