October Third Saturday Event Volunteer

We are looking for volunteers of all ages and abilities to help aid in the success of the farmers market and Third Saturday Events. The event is Saturday, October 15th, 2022 and will run from 2 pm to dusk. This month, the theme is Ghosts in the Garden. We will be hosting tractor tours around the Town of Remington, telling ghost stories, and having a fire pit for s'mores. Volunteers will be needed to assist with supervising children, putting together s'mores kits, and creating the fire pit and keeping it under control. If you are unable to attend the event, donations in the form of children's Halloween books and s'mores supplies would be greatly appreciated. We also encourage anyone who is interested in learning more about the garden, meeting new people, and enjoying good food and music to stop by. Other groups in attendance include: the Farmers Market vendors, music by Maddie Mae, Fauquier Fresh, and the food truck Llamacita.
