Piedmont Smiles is a free community dental day event, taking place on October 18, 2025. It is a one-day, pop-up event that will provide free dental care to members of our community — including Fauquier, Rappahannock and surrounding areas. Patients can register, see dental professionals, and get dental treatment, all at no cost to them.
We are anticipating a large need for volunteers for this event; whether you’re a dentist, a doctor, or a neighbor, you can lend a hand! Professional volunteer opportunties for dentists, dental assistants, MD's and Nurses can be found here.
All current general/lay volunteer opportunities and shifts are listed below. If any interest you, click on the "respond" key and if you do not have a user account with letsvolunteer.org, you will be re-directed to set one up. If you have any questions about volunteering, please contact our Volunteer Hub Manager. We would love to have you join us on the big day!
CHECK-OUT & EXIT
Responsibilities/Activities: Collect all registration forms and waivers from Dental Assistants, distribute resource material and ensure patients have all necessary follow-up materials before exiting. Deliver forms and waivers to the Data Entry table.
Shifts Available: Shifts listed for Saturday, respond to those you wish to serve.
Location: Check-Out Table in New Gym

Training: On-site day of the event
