Our volunteer drivers took over 1100 clients last year to their multiple appointments. We'd like to pack 50-60 (as many as we can pack with this $1000) "We Care" bags for our clients for which we provide rides. The "lunch bag" will include some nonperishables such as soup, crackers, cookies, and water. Additionally, we will add items that senior may enjoy of find useful such as flashlight, hand lotion, large print crossword puzzle book, etc. To include in each bag will be a $10 gift card to either Walmart or Food Lion. After we pack the bags, we'll have pizza for the participants. This is a great networking opportunity for our volunteer drivers as well as others in the community who may like more information about VolTran.
