Many of our heroes live in homes which served their families well decades ago but are difficult to maintain as individuals age. Our veterans need assistance with various types of yard work, especially as seasons change. Volunteers within our Home Front program are available when needs arise. We seek individuals, groups, and/or landscaping companies willing to assist our heroes in need. Please note, some veterans have supplies and some don't and each volunteer opportunity will indicate any supplies needed.
Background checks are required for any volunteer who spends time alone with our Veterans, drives our Veterans or has access to our Veterans personal information.
Key Responsibilities
- Mowing
- Weeding
- Trimming bushes
- Planting small flower beds occasionally
- Leaf removal
- Snow removal
