Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day the mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery and the more than 1,600 national cemeteries in all 50 U.S. states, at sea, and abroad.
Hero’s Bridge will be one of many organizations supporting our local national cemetery, the Culpeper National Cemetery, to carry out this mission. This national cemetery has 11,242 veteran interments.
Unfortunately, each year this program raises only approximately 6,000 wreaths. As an organization that services veterans 65 and older, we want to see every veteran honored during this year’s wreath laying at Culpeper National Cemetery. We hope that you will help us reach our goal of 300 wreaths by sponsoring a wreath and laying that wreath at 12:00 noon on December 17.
A Toast to the Fallen
Following the wreath-laying on Saturday, December 17 we invite you to gather with us at Death Ridge Brewery where Hero's Bridge will invite everyone to raise their glass to all veterans, past, present, and future.
