Are you passionate about animal welfare and savvy with social media? Wat to give back to your community using your creativity and communication skills? Join the Culpeper Humane Society as our volunteer Social Media Marketer and help change lives both for people and pets in our community.
What You Will Do:
As our Social Media Marketer, you will be the vital voice of CHS, helping us:
- Raise awareness of local animal welfare issues.
- Promote adoptable dogs and cats and highlight success stories.
- Drive engagement and support for our low-cost spay/neuter , foster, Pet Pantry and emergency vet care programs.
- In collaboration with our President you will help to design and execute online fundraising and advocacy campaigns.
This Role Is Ideal If You:
- Have experience managing social media for an organization or business.
- Know your way around Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms.
- Can write and deign content that informs, inspires, and activates followers.
- Are self-motivated, organized, and enthusiastic about animal rescue.
- Want to volunteer flexibly-most work can be done remotely on your schedule once training is complete.
Time Commitment:
- Estimated 15-30 hours per month.
- Occasional in-person meetings (Culpeper area)
