The Care-A-Van is our transport service that transports dogs and cats to our clinic partners for low-cost spay/neuter services. The cost of these services is offered to our community on a sliding scale, based on income. We do three transports per month one for dogs, one for cats and one for cats from our trap/neuter/release cat colonies.
The Care-A-Van Coordinator will:
- Work with our clinics to set appointments.
- Communicate via email with program participants to notify them of transport requirements, dates and times.
- Obtain the necessary documentation to qualify them for one of our programs.
- Collect participants payment in advance of the actual transport run date.
- Work with transport team to set up transports for the morning and evening transportation runs.
- Coordinate with clinics and program participants regarding drop-off and return locations and times .
- Maintain an up to date Wait List for transport runs.
- After training, work from home when it is convenient for you. Occasional on-site meetings may be required.
Recruiting 3 volunteers for this position so each Coordinator can be responsible for one run per month.
