Do you like to play in the dirt? Use cool tools? Chase garden gnomes? This opportunity is for you! Our raised beds at the Free Clinic of Culpeper have been dreaming of the smells of green, the feel of earthworms, and the buzzing of bees! It needs friends to help it get ready for the summer.
Come join us on the morning of Wednesday, April 30th from 9 until noon. We'll provide lunch and drinks, tools and guidance, and a free T-shirt!
We raise vegetables for our patients and their families. We will be preparing the soil, planting, putting up trellises, mulching, and this year we want to add flowers for pollinators, and also, because flowers are just beautiful!
Older children are allowed as long as they are with their grownups.
