Camp Volunteer Day

Rapp Nature Camp has scheduled a Camp Volunteer Day on Wednesday, April 8^th.  The event is timed to prepare for the April 11^th annual gathering of our camp community and also the summer day camp sessions beginning in June.  The goal of the Camp Volunteer Day is to marshal the support of volunteers in cleaning up the nature trails.  Volunteer activities will include spreading wood chips along our meadow trail, removing brush, installing wood planks as trail crossings over irrigation ditches and streams, planting native plants; and preparing nature-themed signage.  Feel free to pick an hour to come if you can't stay for the whole time.  Families are encouraged; parents should plan to stay and work alongside kids 12 and under.  Refreshments and Rapp Nature Camp-branded apparel will be offered to the volunteers.
