PEC is looking for individuals to help review our Buy Fresh Buy Local farmer profile information. Our chapter data is being imported into a new database and requires double-checking each profile. Work will be broken into 2-hour time slots and at the beginning of each session, volunteers will be given a set of profiles to review and the list of necessary steps to ensure the profiles are accurate and integrated into the new system. PEC staff will be onsite for guidance and to answer questions as the arise.

The Piedmont Environmental Council's Buy Fresh Buy Local program helps support local farmers, productive agricultural lands and rural economies by helping consumers easily find and purchase locally produced foods. Each year PEC produces local food guides for three chapter areas - Northern Piedmont, Charlottesville Area, and Loudoun County.
