Rainbow Therapeutic Riding Center in Haymarket holds periodic training sessions on Monday afternoons. Our next training session for those interested in volunteering will be Monday, January 28th from 4:00 - 5:00. Prospective volunteers will train to Sidewalk (Sidewalkers walk alongside the horse and rider during a lesson, providing rider support if needed). Sidewalkers should be at least 16 years old and able to keep up at a walk and trot. Previous experience around horses is not necessary. Space is limited and pre-registration is required by emailing volunteer@rainbowriding.org.
