Spend Some Time Helping Out Washington Volunteer Fire and Rescue!

Washington Volunteer Fire and Rescue plans on having an open house to go along with our Let's Volunteer Day. Our hope is to allow the public to interact with the members of the department in hopes of attracting new members while also having active volunteer opportunities for those who want to jump right in and help out. For those wishing to help and work there will be an assortment of things to do including helping at our thrift shop or helping in the station itself with projects and learning about membership. We'll be happy to have you help with simple things like wash the apparatus or get into cleaning out the bay. We'd also love help with larger projects like grounds maintenance and cleaning out our storage shed. Please plan on attending and having a good time. We plan on providing lunch and can't wait to see you there.
