Created by staff and volunteers, there are extensive trails on RAWL's property that are utilized in the daily care of its dogs, for exercise and training purposes. These trails require an annual cleanup effort in order for them to be safely accessible to volunteer walkers and RAWL staff.
Please join us on this Trail cleanup day. RAWL staff will operate heavy equipment, like mowers, chain saws and weed wackers; volunteers will prune small brush, rake and gather debris, as needed. These trails cover a variety of environments, from grasslands and wooded areas to creekside spaces. And, as a special surprise, volunteers may find hidden filled Easter eggs on the trails, as a small "thank you" from the RAWL Board of Directors and its staff.
Volunteers need to wear appropriate clothing/shoes; please bring work gloves, insect repellent and pruning shears or loppers, if desired. Families are very welcome, although small children need to be closely supervised by adults.
