Description

Join Friends of the Rappahannock and Fauquier County Parks and Recreation at Monroe Park in Goldvein, VA to plant native trees! Register Here!

Native trees are nature’s best defense against stormwater runoff and pollution entering our waterways. We will be planting trees throughout the park to improve habitat, protect water quality, and to beautify the park.

All volunteers must register below and sign a waiver to participate. This event will be held rain or shine. Register Here!

We will meet onsite at 11:00am to plant 40 native trees (3-7 gallon bucket sized trees) throughout the park. We will have shovels, water, and snacks available. Please bring your own work gloves.

COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES

  • Masks must be worn during check-in. Masks will also need to be worn anytime social distancing is not possible.

Please print and bring this waiver with you – or you may email it to October by 3 pm on October 7– so you don’t have to sign it during check-in.
