Those who are able to safely handle a splitter or maul are welcome to help us with the splitting process. There are 5 operating gas powered splitters on site. Though you may bring your own maul, we may have some resources available on hand. FCC Firewood Ministry Fall Kick-Off Event!
HELP THOSE IN NEED PREPARE FOR WINTER!
ALL AGES AND ABILITIES WELCOME

The Fauquier Community Coalition (FCC) Wood Ministry, in coordination with Warrenton Baptist Church (and many others,) will be having a special day of preparation for the coming winter season on Saturday, September 25 from 9 AM to 1 PM. We will be cutting, splitting, stacking, and making deliveries throughout the day. All ages and abilities are welcome as there will be plenty of tasks for all (but please, any under age 14 should be accompanied by an adult.)
The wood prepared and delivered is often the only means of heat for those in need in our community. Last season, we were able to help some 35 local families stay warm during the cold months by delivering over 300 truckloads of firewood.
Please join us for a day of fun and fellowship as we support this wonderful ministry! Our specific needs are listed below. Respond to the one that fits you best, or all four. Someone will be in touch with you to confirm your interest and go over the details with you. Thank you for your support!
