Description

Volunteer Camp Counselor: Assist camp leader/instructor with regular daily duties such as setting up tables/chairs, preparing snacks and organizing equipment and/or supplies. Help supervise games and activities, while providing assistance as needed for campers, with their art projects. 


 

Multiple camps available:

 

Kaleidoscope Art Camp:   Fan the creative spark of your budding artist with this week of nothing but ART! Your little Picasso will discover a different form of art each day with experienced local educators and working artists. They will express themselves in a different creation each day by exploring drawing, painting, crafts, and more! 

***Preferred if you are able to help all 5 days.  Wonderful if you can help with both age groups, all 5 days.

Campers ages 6-8yrs, (5 days) Monday - Friday, June 6 - June 10, 2022, camp runs 10:00a-11:30a [arrive by 9:30am]

Campers ages 9-12yrs, (5 days) Monday - Friday, June 6 - June 10, 2022, camp runs 12:30p-2:00p [done by 2:30p]

 


 

 

WATER & ART Camp:  We’re bringing back art and water play! Come fully prepared to enjoy time both indoors and out, where we will revisit various splash and squirt art projects – making use of everything from paint, paper, canvas, bubbles, hoses, pavement and more. Other activities make time for cooperative games, snacks and free-time. Each day includes a special craft project that kids get to take home.

****Art projects will include getting wet, in some scenarios and paint/art materials may become messy when in use.

 

(4 days)  July 5 – 8, 2022 (Tuesday – Friday) Ages 10 – 15.

Anyone ages 18 or older:  After your response has been received, you will be sent an online link to complete a background check.  If you prefer a paper copy for the background check please contact April Coffey at acoffey@culpepercounty.gov

Waivers & background checks only needs to be submitted once per calendar year.
