The Piedmont Environmental Council is looking for someone to help make it easier and more fun to bike in Charlottesville. We've partnered with many local groups to launch BikeCville: a website and a program for casual cyclists who would like to meet other people, learn more about the community and find resources and tips. We need help with social media, outreach, events and more. Having a bike is helpful but not required.
Charlottesville/Albemarle Greenways Project
Interested in walking/biking/running in Charlottesville and Albemarle? If so, The Piedmont Environmental Council and Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission are working with local communities in the Charlottesville and Albermarle urban core to envision and implement a comprehensive network of bicycle and pedestrian trails and greenways.
