Do you have two hours on a Saturday that you can spend helping your neighbors?
The JDF promotes foot health and healthy lifestyles for the underserved. One way we do this is by sponsoring Community Giveaway's where we give away free goods to those in need so they can live healthier lives. The JDF is sponsoring its first Community Giveaway of 2023 and we need volunteers!
We're serving members of the Catlett community who continue to experience financial hardships by providing free goods to these families. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with people in need. This one day event is a good outreach training and bonding event for parents, kids and families to work together as a team as they assist customers in a family environment. We'll need assistance offloading trucks and unpacking merchandise, setting up tables, organizing goods, and clean up. Volunteers will assist customers select free clothes, personal goods, household goods, toys, bikes and more. We're looking for smiling faces, helping hands for this one day event. Volunteers are asked to commit for a minimum of two hours.
