Sweet potatoes are nutritious, packing a good amount of vitamin c, vitamin a, and anticancer properties into each serving.
We will be transforming 175 lbs of sweet potatoes into 500 servings of soup for local food bank clients and we need some support with all the associated peeling, chopping, cooking, and cleaning tasks.
This is a project of the George Washington Carver Food Enterprise Center in collaboration with the Fauquier Education Farm who is growing the sweet potatoes.
